Well, if I’m going to keep felting by accident …

Maybe I can create pretty felted things on purpose, instead of tiny jumpers by accident?

I'm feeling rather excited actually, at the chance to add a new slant to my knitting which, to date, I have only ever managed to achieve by accident ... Our local college (literally less than ten minutes' walk away) has just released some dates for free taster sessions to advertise the new round of adult evening ...

And May’s teapot is wearing …

April stash 018

Just to update, a couple of days late, what the fashionable tea pot is wearing this May ... ... why, it has to be bluebells, of course! The bluebell tea cosy pattern's very simple and it easily uses up bits and bobs from the stash.  I used a white DK and a bluebell blue DK doubled together ...

Who says there’s no romance in stash-busting?

Photo credit: NY daily news.com ~ click image to link and read the full story!

I suppose I should have known it was inevitable: with in-between weather giving an in-between seasonal feel to what should be Spring here in the UK, it's understandable that yarn suppliers are sharing that moment, so ...

What’s in April’s knitting bag: ‘need to’ knitting or your own yarn yearnings?

Pastel power stash-busting!

It's the time of year which feels very much in-between things ~ yes, I know it should actually be well into Spring but it sort of feels like we're still trying to head that way, the heating's still on it's that cold, both snow and rain in the last ten days, so it feels too ...

I know Easter’s over, but I can’t resist cosy-ing up a bargain buy!

April 2013 059

As part of the gift challenge, I've cosied up and personalised a bargain by from a brand much-loved by my friends and indeed others, Cath Kidston. Much as I'm a handmade gift advocate, I do realise that not everyone's as into it as I am, so I'm always watchful for branded gifts at sale times, just ...
